well, i've been debating on and off for a year now....
all i've owned were racers.... crotch rockets....but, i'm much older now (37) and am now a father...so, i figured i need to relax before i crash and nearly kill myself, again ....last spring i looked at sportsters (1200C)....i was told that's where i should start....comfortable bike, but they seemed a bit small.... fast enough, i'd say....and very comfortable...i liked the forward controls....but, then i found myself trying to find ways to really beef and speed the thing up.... crazy....anyway, i'm heading to Boston Harley in Revere sometime over the next few weeks to decide..... Sportster is out of the question....just a bit too small
Don't forget to look at a V-Rod. It's a cross over between the crotch rockets and cruisers. The SE's will put your eyeballs through the back of your helmet!
