First bike
Hi all
Don here from Salmon Arm B.C.
Been riding dirt bikes my whole life but never owned a street bike. Allways wanted one but was a bit of a daredevil & didn't trust myself. Now that i'm older (46) & hopefully wiser I bit the bullet earlier this spring & ordered the 2012 cvo street glide. (diamond black & grey slate) Go big or go home right? Now trying to save up for the matching tour pac, a better seat, & fullsacs stage 1 or 2.
Wife loves to ride so after putting on over 8500 km in the last 4 months, We have decided to ride to sturgis in 2013. Should be fun, over 1800 km each way.

Don , that sounds like a nice bike , a bunch of guy's I work with are planning to go to Sturgis in 2014 as a retirement trip for a couple of them . I managed a litlle over 11000 km's this summer on my first Harley , and 2000 plus was with my wife . she really likes the Sundowner seat I put on .

Thanx for the welcome guys. I just found a full exhaust system with factory shields, mufflers, and decatted head pipe in mint shape from a 2010 ultra today for $75. Couldn't turn it down. Gonna use the head pipe for the time being so seat is probably next on the list. I want an aftermarket solo with the seperate passenger pillion.
