new harley member

hi everyone,looking foward to posting threads.i gave up bikes 25 years ago.got married.other priorities.back in 2008 i met a chap with vintage cars.at the back of his shed he had a roadking .that was it.told my wife i was buying one.she thought i was mad but to go for it.so in 2009 i bought my roadking classic.havent looked back.its like been reborn.a new lease of life and the likeminded people you meet become life long friends from all over the world.in 2012 i bought an ultra classic electa glide cvo,hopeing wifey would join me on trips.she,s a bit nervy do.i am now thinking of a triglide.think she would love that.any advice welcomed.only thing is for some reason harley wont sell triglides in europe.you can trike a bike ok,but triglides would be better value and better finish and you,d have your guarantee.so thats me,harley is part of my life now.looking foward to your reply,s.

Don't understand the reasoning behind not shipping a trike, unless they would have to design a special container for overseas and they don't predict enough volume to justify it.????

havent looked into shipping a trike to ireland yet.was told its very exspensive.my problem is where to buy a tri glide in america,private or trade and a genuine shipping company to use.any ideas.also any advice on getting bike triked or is the harley tri glide the better option.
