Hello All,
Just wanted to introduce myself...just got my first Harley at 41. Seems as if my entire adult life I have been chasing this dream. Unfortunatley along the way other things took precedent, such as kids, atvs, snowmobiles, and especially bills. But we are here and real excited!!! We are from the southeastern part of Wisconsin and hoping there are others here that would want to meet up when the weather comes around. Oh yeah...almost forgot, I got a 01 Wide Glide with the screaming eagle. I believe pretty much a stock bike other than the motor, and somehow I already have some minor mods I want to do to make it more my style.
The HARD part is waiting for Spring. I feel like a little Kid waiting for Christmas. I aslo seem to be peering into the garage 10x a day to make sure I am in reality...Goofy I know...but feels so good to finally accomplish a lifes goal which will be a new journey which I hope lasts a lifetime.
Thanks Guys. That video is hilarious...maybe i should have clarified...i rode many years on rice burners...so even though my first harley...not my first ride...
