I've tried odyssey and lithiom batteries i can't get over about 8 months out of anything. I have a prostreet custom with a 100 in revtech with compression releases. I've had it rewired and the starter checked and still have problems. Any suggestions.
Lithiom Ion battieries have different charging requirements than lead acid batteries.
First most require a special charger and a regular battery charger will ruin them, also you stator output may not be entirely compatible. You may have to add additional electronics to the charging system. I would check with a qualified dealer to see what they recommend. Almost all dealers warn that a regular charger will drastically shorten the life of a Lithiom Ion battery.
i bought the 90 dollar charger made by the company i've seen alot of different suggestions about lithiom batteries on here none of them are the one made by ballistic performance which is the one i got. did i just pick a bad company?
