Greetings all. I am glad to be here. I have been riding 43 years and am recovering from a devastating collision with a cell phone talking cage driver. Thankfully my wife was thrown clear and only sustained severe bruising. I took a 50mph impact into an SUV. Needless to say man broken parts on me, including my pelvis, face, sckull, and both arms and The bike was destroyed. Thank fully it was not on our shovelhead or old Ironhead. I am able to kinda walk and rode for the first time in 8 months yesterday. Riding has been in my family for as long as I can remember. My dad rode for 76 years and at 91 still rode his original bike, a 1936 Indian upside down four. I started driving motorcycles in the summer of 1969. To everyone, have a blessed day.

Welcome to the forums from another Florida biker! Sorry to hear about your wreck and glad to hear that you are back on the road. I am also glad that you did not total one of your classic bikes. Never a good feeling to loose a ride but I like how you found the silver lining. Enjoy the forums.
