I would take it to another dealership.....your dealer doesnt seem to want to be bothered with your bike, a shame since you bought it from him. I dont understand how Harley dealers(some at least) can be as bad as they are. Find you another dealer close, and get your scoot fixed, better yet, find a reputable Indy shop and but the parts from him, you will get a better build and a better price more than likely. But do your homework, cause all Indy shops arent good either, you wouldnt believe the crap that people bring in our place that was worked on somewhere else, not saying we are perfect, but when we do screw up, we sure as hell fix it....pronto.
I get my bike out today!! Looks like great weekend weather here for riding the Central California Coast.
Thanks for the advice on taking my bike to another dealership to have it looked at. I was under the impression that every dealership worked the same--NOT SO!!
I'm planning on writing the MotorCo to let them know the bad/good experience I've gone through with local dealerships.
The bike was repaired by the second dealership within 1 week. Apparently, there wasn't enough clearance in the casing for the cams. Needless to say, I'll be following up with that.
