Central Vt, Checking in!
Been on the forum for a bit, but never made a "hello" post.
I have a 05 FXSTC that I ride every day on my hour commute to work and back when weather permits, rode till temps were in the 20s last fall.
I do a lot of off roading, so while helping a buddy get his Jeep ready for the season, I looked over and saw a head tube poking out from under the rubble, I asked about it and found out that it was left by some one that the family had a falling out with, song and dance later and Im going to pick it up next week some time. Didnt look at it too long, so all that I know is that everything is very rusty, and its a right foot shift Ironhead with a hardtail frame.
Pretty excited to dig into this project, last time this bike was on the road (guessing by the sticker on the plate) was 1981
Looks to be alot of good information on this forum, Im sure Ill be using that search button soon!
