Very true, although it'll probably end up getting trailered here from NY, I have to go to Baltimore to get my Grand Cherokee out of storage (was in Okinawa Japan for a year), so a short ~6 hour drive to upstate NY to grab the bike shouldn't be a problem, then the long haul back to TX. Shouldn't be too bad though, I made it from 29 Palms, CA to Stafford, VA in 28 1/2 hours about a year and a half ago, in my '08 Ram 1500.....
It'll be a fun trip. I just realized what your forum name means. Thank you for your service and welcome home
New guy here, checking in. Recently inherited a 2003 Road King Classic (100th Anniversary Edition) from my father after his recent and completely unexpected passing (he was 53). Always wanted a Harley, and happy that I have one now, but not happy with how I got it. I guess I'll just try to find the silver lining in it all.
Getting the RKC inspected after sitting for 3 years.
Putting some miles on the bike, riding in Dad's memory.
