I have a stock air cleaner and breather bolts on my 2001 883 Hugger.
I was wondering if it would work to use the stock bolts and put the (HARLEY 29445-02 HOSE BREATHER FITTING CHROME ) T breather fitting form a kit on them . By drilling a hole in the stock bolts and the taping the end where you tighten them at and putting a set screw in there so it don't breath into the air cleaner ?
That way I can use my stock air filter and cover, But breath cold air into the carb. not warm moist air.
Hope it works. Will let you know when I am done with it and try it out for a couple days. :-)
