Well I'm new to this site but I have been riding off and onall my life. I learned to ride on my dads 75 superglide when I was about 16. I rode his bike more than he did. I rode that for a few years and I got my own bike, I was young and like the ricebuners so I got an 1100 GSXR. After my dad disowned me for getting a ricebuner and sliping a disk in my back weight lifting I had to sell the riceburner. All that hunching over sucked for the back and since I have been in the military and getting deployed all over the world it took alittle bit before I could get another bike.I have a 2003 1200 sportster now and It dont bother my back at all. I am stationed in Belgium now and I'm thinking that when I get back to the states I get a Night Train. They say I might have to have back surgery for all the crap I was doing in Iraq. Maybe the bike will be able to massage my back, who knows. All I know is I'm glad to be riding alot more often now. I think bikers are some of the best people one would care to meet. I grew up with bikers and know they can be closer than brothers.
Y'all take care and happy riding.
