New Rider from NH
Hi All,
New-again rider. Bought my first HD, a 2008 Street Bob,
a few weeks ago and wondering why the hell I waited so long.
Had some old metrics (78 XS750, 78 GS750) that taught
me a lot about wrenching, but not much about riding. Had
been about 5 years since I was on two wheels.
First 500 miles down, and loving it. Done multihour rides,
through thunderstorms and hail storms. Wish I was wearing
my full-face for the last one, but still loving it.
Completed Rider's Edge this week, got my license yesterday and
went on my first night ride last night. Was white knuckling it a bit
on the backwoods twisties as I was an hour from home, and hadn't
checked headlight alignment beforehand. Set it per spec once home
and the difference was amazing. I'm sure the owls in the treetops are
more appreciative too.
Here's blue, a little muddy after my first ride a few weeks ago.
She cleans up good though, I promise.
