My name is Greg and I recently purchased a new cvo breakout. Im intrested in getting current owners opinions of this same bike. I've been riding most of my life , all makes and over 10 years on a dyna wide glide. I have an issue i've been told is normal for a soft tail , im not sure I accept it 100% so any feedback would be appreciated. Here's the situation, I get a very noticable vibration throughout the bike any time you give it throttle, gets worse the more gas you give it.I was told its because the engine is solid mounted to the frame.
I saw the Breakout in a brochure but they never had them at the local dealers but they look sweet-a vibration?
That sounds like something to drive you nuts after spending $26k plus or whatever-probably a new model issue and unfortunate-
I know that a friends 06 Dyna style models have a flaw in the case that requires a new bearing ever 6K miles or it will thump and vibrate like hell-I rode it when thumping and its annoying as f*ck - hope its not one of those deals-
Welcome to the Forum from Colorado!
I have seen issues with the fuel pumps so far, but not excessive vibration.
I'm sure the Breakout guys will chime in.
picture? I saw the CVO Breakout at my dealer, its a looker. They had the crimson red.
Good Luck with the new ride. Congrats!! You may get better help in the CVO SECTION, about the vibration issue, or see your dealer.
Thanks, I'll try that section. I got the feeling from my dealer like they didn't want to pursue it any further than they did, they want me to finish putting the 500 beakin miles on it first so we shall see.
