first thing I would do is go to the Classic section of the forum and read every post in the ironhead section. Then I would read the posts in the Shovel section.
Then I would get a shop manual.... scratch that, get the manual first... Without a manual and the info here, you will go broke paying someone else to do the things that you should be able to do yourself. Old bikes are just like that.
Congrats on the new ride. I am sure you will love it. I have had new ones, but nothing is like having a piece of Classic American Iron.
