You're not Guy Ritchie are ya!?

Welcome to the forums! You'll find everything you've ever wanted to know about Harley's right here! Do they have a lot of Harley dealerships in the UK or did you order your bike directly from HD?

Guy Ritchie? No I am just an ordinary Guy and my girlfriend rides a Guzzi rather than falling off horses!

There are many HD dealerships over here- I ordered mine from Eddys in Leeds but there are at least 4 other shops within a 50 mile radius of where I live.

Regards

Guy

2 months can seem like a long time, but there are ways to make the time go by a little faster. I used to look at American Iron mags and spend a lot of time talking to and listening to the people on this forum about their bikes and what they had done to them. Just a couple of ideas that might help your wait. Good luck

Thanks for all your kind welcomes- two months is going to seem like a loooooooong time!

cheers

Welcome from Calgary. Harlkeys are not as common in the UK as they are over here, your ride will get a lot of attention, have fun on the 'B' roads. My better half hails from Heysham (near Lancaster).

If Im right in guessing the dealers you mean are St Ledger, Robin Hood, Harleyworld and Sycamore, you cant be far away from me in Grantham. I use Sycamore myself, but have heard good things about Eddys ( especially his daughter Sam!! ) I bought a Triumph from thier other shop in Leeds about 10 years ago and cannot fault the service I recieved.
Welcome aboard

Hi Lev

I am near Huddersfield- could have either gone to the 2 dealers in Manchester, Chesterfield or Leeds but I went to Eddys first because they were nearest and they offered me a fair part exchange on my car. My girlfriend Helen bought a used Moto Guzzi V11 from Eddys in May and they seemed fine so am happy to deal with them again. and yes it was Sam who I did the deal with.

The funny thing is, although I had been thinking about getting a Fat Boy for a while, I actually went out that day to buy a new TV because the old one was bust but ended up buying a Harley instead. Still have no TV!

Regards

Guy
