I'm a Canadian working in Bosnia and will be moving to sunny Florida late this summer with my all-American wife.
One of our priorities when we get to Florida is to get ridin'! We'll both be first time riders / owners so this forum is helping a lot with info.
One of the "ventures" I'll hopefully be picking up is exporting HD's to Bosnia because, well, there aren't any. I've only seen one here and it's locked away in a local bar. I've only heard rumours of others in the country. There's a market for 'em so I might as well give it a shot.
Saying that, it would kind of ridiculous to export HD's and not own one myself.
I've heard all the "Sporties are girl bikes" crap before but I think a nice pair (883 for her & 1200 for him) may be the route to go as we start out unless I find something more up my financial ally so to speak.
I've already started shopping around for our rides (even though it's about 6 months away). Do you guys know of any good online resources I could check out?
I've been to:
cycletrader.com
harleydavidson.com
local newspaper classifieds
autotrader.ca
There's gotta be a hidden gem out there somewhere for me!
Check the dealers link on http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/C...p?locale=en_US, and find the dealer you that might be in your area when you move or just look at a lot of different dealers and find the best price. Welcome from Tennessee!
