Newbie with New Bike & HOG Assist Problem
So when I bought my bike I got lots of lovely Harley Davidson paperwork, HOG membership card, HOG Assistance paperwork, Harley Davidson Insurance paperwork, log book etc.
When I went to France I took it all, the French Gendarme insist you carry all this stuff.
Amongst this is a lovely badged up card Harley Davidson Assistance. That's the number I called, Harley Davidson Assistance is NOT HOG Assistance, it IS Carlole Nash & is part of my Insurance, not my HOG Assistance. They even answer the phone as Harley Davidson Assistance so you can understand my confusion.
HOG now cannot help me, they were never involved in the first place. They tried really hard but it's out of their hands. I did not call them in the first place. Bugger!
Devastated.
In addition the dealership now have SOME of the parts, not all & have still to repair my bike. They say the other parts should arrive 4th or 5th September. Which will be almost 3 weeks since I broke down & 14 working days since they got the bike. Jeez!
I'm going to instruct Chas Mortimer to collect it in whatever state it is in, repaired or not, I think, but I'll give it a couple more days.

I cheekily emailed European MD & VP & he replied. The UK & French country managers are now dealing with it & Kenny is coming home, fixed. Soon, not sure of date.
