Hello everyone !! Looks like a great forum you have here ... I have been riding for about 30 years on many different brands of bikes including a HD many years ago. The last couple years have been on a 2010 Yamaha Raider S, well 2 weeks ago I was offered a good price for my ride and decided to sell. I do custom painting and chrome and I had painted it Cosmic chrome bronze with some chameleon ghost flames. I took it to a few show and shines and won Best Motorcycle at a Car and Motorcycle Show and on Sept. 21, I entered it in a local HD show and shine, well ......I won ...top custom motorcycle and also the People's Choice Motorcycle....ain't that funny,winning at a HD Show and Shine, lol, the guys at the dealership were joking with me about it "you should buy a HD" Well, after selling the Raider (that ran perfect for 2 years) ,,,,,yes I walked in and bought a 2014 FLHTK Ultra Limited, beautiful bike,,amber whiskey and black,, It is now sitting in my garage, with A DO NOT RIDE WARNING and I am stuck making new payments on something I can't ride ..... To: HD management - I do hope you make this up to me ,,,Do I need to make my first payment on NOV 1st ?? This really sucks...winter is coming in Alberta, maybe a couple weeks left before snow ..and no ride until this clutch problem is fixed ???? I would like to think I made the right choice in buying an american made product for $34,000 dollars and this will be the last and only problem ...I have with it ...Damm , put a foreign clutch if need be.
Sorry for venting guys, but just a little upset about spending big $$$$ for a DO NOT RIDE product ,,,, guess I will wax it for the next 6 months !!! LOL
