First Post
Stumbled across this forum tonight doing an internet search for a Tour Pak.
This looks like a great place with a ton of info, easy registration so here I am.
I'm kinda an old fart, will be 60 next summer. I'm retired, 4 years ago. I did 4 years Active Duty in the Air Force and 32 years as an Air Guard Technician at my ANG base here in Sioux Falls SD. Air Force I worked F 105's, F4's, F111's, A7's and went to school on F5's just before I got out. I was at Nellis AFB Las Vegas NV '73-'77. ANG I was crew chief on A7's and F16's for 25 years until moving into supervision where I supervised crew chiefs and later on a lot of the back shops.
Been riding motorcycles for about 45 years. My first bike was that Harley step thru job imported by Harley from Aramichi (sp?). It was a 50 or 65 cc, not sure. I know it was a 1965 model. I was 14 at the time.
After that it was a long string of metric bikes, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki.
Bought my first "real" Harley a little over a year ago. 2008 Street Glide Anniversary Edition, that black and Copper Peal paint scheme. Couldn't be happier with the bike. I haven't done too much to it. Lowered the front with Progressive drop in springs. Progressive 940 shocks in the rear, Mustang seat and klockwerks Ergo Back bars. Wife rides with me a lot, we pull a trailer. I've got some more ideas, but the bike is so perfect it really doesn't "need" much. Yes Virginia, there is a difference between need and want.
Here's some pics, catch ya in the forums.

btw that bike had 9700 miles on it when I took those pics a year ago, 20k on the clock now.
