Its one in the morning - can't sleep. Was supposed to pick up my bike today but it wasn't even in the shop. They didn'thave it though they told me to come get it as they were just finishing up the prep. Oh well, and on top of that I may have to go around with them over a seat they are playing doumb about. Needed toswitch it out and had talked about it earlier with them. Bottom line - without the new seat its unridable (for me any way) and it will have to stay right where it is (wherever that may be). until the matter is settled.
NOT GOOD!
On the other hand I did find a copy of the HD 50th. anniverary
logo I can use. Now all I need is a bike to put it on. I have a friend who can hook me up with a real artist. You should see his totally restored 1937 Indian inline four cylinder. If I didn't know better I would swear to God it came off the assembly line just yesterday. Just like everything he does - the guy is unreal.
Another friend has a dozen Indian and Harleys from 27 to 89 but treats them like garbage. Paints them with a spray can. Refuses to restore any of them just rides the hec out of them - bummer.
Go figure? Just sell me one of them! Just One! Some friend hugh.
Thanks for the warm welcome guy's am looking forward to talking with you. Will let you know how things work out.
Love the bike though. It seems that they delivered the first bike I bought to someone else who ran up the miles on it. Couldn't sell it for new anyway though they waited as long as they could before telling me they had lost it.
Didn't even want to get me another one. As it wound up I have bought two bikes at the same time. What a mess. just now got the paperwork cleaned up. This is my second Harley this year Ha Ha.
My insurance company was wondering what I had gotton myself into. I was too as a matter of fact.
Oh well. Now that I have the bike I can go looking for a reputable dealer to service it. On the road again.
Cheers, Jumpman
