Hey everybody. My names Shane, live outside St. Louis, MO, figured id go ahead and sign up seeing as I wind up here almost every day searching. Great site you guys run. I've mainly built cars my entire life, hot rods, traditional customs and lowriders. Had a few bike in the past, a couple Jap bobbers I hated, an 03 Sportster 1200 I LOVED, and just bought a 2000 Heritage. Ive wanted a Heritage since I was young and decided to finally commit. My wife has been begging me to get another bike since we sold the Sporty about 2 years ago when we had my son. Now that hes a bit older and more people are willing to babysit, haha, I pulled the trigger on the bike. It needs a few things here and there, but overall was a GREAT buy. Came with 2 boxes full of extra parts. Ive already made a few changes over the past week. Im excited to learn more as I go and bother everyone with dumb questions. Heres a picture of my Sportster the day I sold her:
And my new love:
I have a bunch of pictures of my cars and other fun **** if anyones interested, but im taking time away from cars for awhile to just enjoy the beauty of 2 wheels. Glad to be here!
