Hey guys/gals what's going on?
Just joined the site and if everything goes right tonight I'll be getting my '06 Street Glide (Black Pearl) Next Week. The SG they had in stock was Carbed and I wanted a FI bike instead. They have to get it shipped from their other dealer in Chrokee,IA.
I'm coming from sportbikes and figured I wanted a cruiser to go with my 2 sportbikes
. I was looking at the HONDA VTX1300, but really loved my buddies '04 Electra Glide Standard. Then when I went to HD Site and seen the new '06 SG I fell in love.[sm=Awwww.gif]
The only bad thing is now my buddy wants to kick my *** cuz he also fell in love with it over the weekend when we were at the dealer and they had it in person for him to see.[sm=smiley36.gif]
Now I gotta start savin my pennies for upgrades
I'm wanting to do the exhaust,injection,brakelines and HOPEFULLY the bump to 95[sm=bling.gif]

Glad you found us, congrats on that new SG! You're gonna love it, and probably won't have time to ride those other two any more
You'll love those planned upgrades as well.Post pics of your stable when you get it complete!

As stated I'm from Joliet. I've already learned a few things from what I have been reading and also confused on a few things.[sm=dontgetit.gif]
I'm sure I'll be asking many questions when I'm ready on the confusing items (exhaust). Very informative site though, but as everyone knows exhaust systems are based on alot of opinions
For now I can't wait to get the new ride. Oh and I know I'll be spending alot of time on the new ride with the other 2 sitting at home or my Gf riding 1 of them.

Cheyenne, you definitely picked a great ride. I fell in love with the SG when I saw it as well. Of course, I'm gonna have to wait a few years for mine. Post pics when you get a chance.
