Kinda new member I did my first post today but been reading posts for months now.
I have been ring since 73 on a Bonny triumph. The next year bought a 74 superglide. It was troble from the get to. The factory went on strike and I think I got one of the last models made. It needed a bore and new rings after a thousand miles. It then was stolen. It was maybe a blessing in disguise. I then purchase a 1969 Dressser and that took many forms till I traded it in in 91 for a Softtail. I rode that till 04 and picked up a Road KIng. I rode that till 09 and have been on a Ultra Classic which I just traded in for 2014 Limited.
I also ride a 1961 Sportster,1972 Aeramacchi Sprint and a 2002 Sportster.
I live in Buffalo Ny and looking forwrd to retire so I can do more and longer trips before I get to old.
Thanks to all the members for sharing their knowledge. It has answered a lot of my questions and makes me more informed on my decisions.
Welcome aboard. I checked these forums out for a while before I joined. It's a great place to hang around when there's snow outside, and I'm dreaming of warmer weather.
