I'm Danielle. I just bought my first bike on Wednesday (Feb 26). It is a '10 883 iron. I have been learning to ride it for the past couple of days. I'm very excited about it.
welcome, have you taken the motorcycle training course.. if not then it would be a great and beneficial thing to do... thats the bike my wife learned to ride on
I wish I could but I can't seam to get the days off so my boyfriend road my 'new' bike to the high school parking lot and I practiced after work for about 2 1/2 hours road about 6 miles in the parking lot
Hi Danielle, and congrats on your fisrt bike! Hope to see you on the road.
I agree with what deano360 said, I would highly encourage you to take it.
Take the days off work, because it is well worth it.
You can go through a MSF and it cost $50 or $60.
One night class room, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Hopefully you can do that.
The only two courses I've found here in middle Tennessee are $210 for a Saturday and Sunday or $250 for a Friday and Saturday. Both Friday and Saturday are potential problems as I never know if I will have the weekend off and only have 8 points a year to call in and miss a day before getting fired and I will not have vacation until July hopefully soon I can take a course though
