ON the 88's and more so with 30k... You SHOULd absolutely make sure the Cam tensioners have been changed/checked out.....
It'd been better to include that in your deal Prior to buying...
Most dealers offer $1K less on trade in on an 88''er that hasn't had the New HYD's or at least new pads installed..
Some 88's can go 50k without issue, but some have blown engines at 25K because of the tensioners wearing out.... its a crap shoot.... but better to be safe then Sorry...
They were change to the new Hyd system in 07's when the 96''ers came out....
