I'm new here, but not new to forums like this. I am currently a member of a HD CVO forum, and thought I would come over and check this one out...we can never learn too much from others, and I might have some things to share as well. I currently own three bikes with the following mods...
06 SE Ultra in Black Candy Crimson/Slate: Wild 1 575 Chubby Bars; Rinehart True Duals; Legend Air Ride Shocks; Traxxion Dynamics front fork catridges;Corbin Seat for SEUC; LED brake/run light on leather tourpak (custom dynamics); Custom Dynamics LED tailight retrofit; CD rear turn signals (amber); Doherty PowerPacc w/Powervents A/C; PCIIIUSB; Garmin 2820 GPS on Techmount Bracket; Coming soon are PM wheels, rotors, and calipers. Too much other chrome bits and pieces to list. Next fall/winter will be cams, lifters, plate, pushrods, and TmaxAT.
06 SE Vrod in Scarlet Red/Charcoal: PCIIIUSB; Screamin' Eagle Slip On muffs; Sundowner rider/passenger seat; Chrome Rack; Low Sissy Bar w/Touring backrest; Windvest Windshield. Coming soon for it will be V&H's 2into1 exhaust, but it hasn't been released for sale yet.
05 Ducati MTS 1000DS: This one is being sold tomorrow. Great bike, but it's going to get my butt killed.
I'm 55 years old...rode bikes from the time I was 14 to my early 30's. Mostly Jap bikes, other than a Panhead Chopper I had back in the early 70's which was a death trap, but who thinks about that chit when they're 22 years old, right? Stuff got in the way of me having another bike of my own until a year ago...I then got on the list for the SEUC which was delivered in late May of 06. I've put almost 12K miles on the bike since then. Rode the Ducati a few months prior to that to get my riding legs back under me. Bought the SEVROD last August for a short trip/bar hopper. Love both of the HD's equally...two totally different bikes, but each great in their own way. I ride two up the majority of the time, as my girlfriend loves to be a passenger.
I live in North Central Alabama, and work for a large Urban University system in Human Resource Management.
