I have been pining for a Harley, sold my '92 FXRS w/Wide Glide front end about six or seven years ago. I am going to see a '97 FXDWG tomorrow, bringing some $$$ with me.
The bike is freshly painted black, with what looks like a Le Pera seat, and sharp radius pipes, a hypercharger, and has those black skinny mid-size apes.
I'm real excited to get back on a real motorcycle again.....
Looking for opinions on exhaust: I don't love the sharp radius pipes, wondering what the best looking, sounding and performing (at low RPMs, I live on a small island w/25 mph speed limit) pipes might be. Whaddaya think?
BTW, I'm paying half as much for the '97 FXDWG than I did for the '92 FXRS. The prices sure have come down. There are three different 90's vintage FXDWGs in the local Craigslist for around 5K. Is it just me, or is that really cheap?
