i'm new here and to riding. i'm looking to buy some new tires for my 2002 sportster xl 1200c. i've found some dunlop elite 3's that have the same measurements for my bike but for some reason when i see them on video they look much bigger than the dunlop 402's that are already on the bike. so my question is:
has anyone used the Dunlop Elite 3 tires on a sportster and have them fit well without having to do anything extra?
the size of my current tires are: 100/90/19 (front) and 130/90/16 (back). the elite 3's that i'm looking to get are MM90HB-19 (front) and MT90HB-16 (back). just to make sure those are the correct conversions for the proper fit, right?
Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. The sizes you quote are correct. Fitted widths of tyres do vary between brands and models, but you should find them very close.
