23" front on a '93 FXLR custom??
Hey guys...I am new to the site and wanted to jump right in and fire some questions. I am eager to get wrenching on the bike and back on the road before the summer ends.
I am trying to figure out what all is involved in installing a 23 inch front wheel on the bike. I assume it may be a different adapter kit or axle based on the late year of the bike and just removing or adding a taller front fender? I did not plan on doing trees at the moment. At most I would only do a few degrees of rake but wanted to try without first. The bike is great how it is and im sure I will get some heat about taking what is currently on it off but I received the bike from my dad and want to do some things to make it more my style. Other than the wheel it is just a freshen up of the lines, fluids, check jets, 2-1 pat defender exhaust, seat and lighting. Believe it already has a cam in it or some sort. Possibly SE or Andrews.
