133 bucks for one??? WOW
you can make one cheaper and yep, that can be repaired if you have the equipment. if it was mine, exactly what i would do, not very much load on it axially.

Ah, looks like another one and doner. Farewell pipe wrench on the "axel" guy, we hardly knew ye'.
Appreciate all the replies.. did some shopping around and found an Adjure flush mount for 60 bucks that I ordered. Saw some mixed reviews on them, but I concur that it's a small price to pay for peace of mind. I'm still learning here. Harley wanted 160 for theirs. I love the deuce, but it does take some extra digging for parts. Anyhow, I should be back on the road in a couple days when my new AXLE arrives.

It's not the Adjure FA0006, is it?

Avoided?...Not the Brand necessarily.
Like I said earlier, your 2007 Bike has a one-off axle. 2000-06 won't work and I don't see a listing for an 07 in Adjure's list (but may have missed it)

Yes that was the one.. I noticed that when I ordered.. one page said fits all deuce models, the other page said up to 06 so I called about the inconsistency before I placed the order and was told it would fit an 07.. but if the axles were different for 07, his statement can't be accurate. Now it's sounding like I'm back to square one.. should I just go w OEM at this point? Originally Posted by multihdrdr
