Default Tires and tubes

Tried the search function and couldn’t come up with an answer so if there is one and you want to yell at the new guy , use cap locks ... I’ll understand , but post a link so I can find my answer haha .

05 Wide Glide stock spoker wheels , Front (Dunlop D402F MH90-21 M/C 54H) Rear (Dunlop D401 150/80B16 M/C 71H) , do they have tubes or no ? Never know a spoked whellnto not have tubes but clearly printed on the side wall it says “tubeless on tube type rim fit tube” ?!?!? What does that mean ?

Any help appreciated in deciphering this , what kind of tires do you recommend for longevity over handling , and should I order tubes and rim liner strips to go along with them , just wanna be right and safe .

thamks for the help in advance !

You have spokes, you have tubes. That is the rule of thumb to use. The Tubeless on a tube type rim means that the tire can be run on both tubes and tubeless rims.

on a tube type rim you must use the tube, unless, you have the thingy that seals the nipple wells and then you can use it tubeless.
notice the side wall, tubeless will have a taper bead to seal to taper on tubeless rim. on the tube type, the bead is more round so it can not seal to a tubeless rim, so the tube is required.

Man ... the anticipation is killing me , what am I waiting for haha , I picture a “Wild Hog” type dude that sick of Nubes asking “stupid” questions that are offensive to his head to toe MOCO leathers and Diligaf patches and helmet stickers , may even remove his HD doo rag to reply .... either way , thanks for the replies , figured it out and ordered a set of Dunlop American Elites , new tubes and strips 👍🏼 Hope they hold up , anyone running them ?
