balancing debate

Every day this week someone has asked me about balance beads at the shop. I'm somewhat familiar with them but never run them myself. What's everyone's opinion on them versus weights.

Balance beads and nothing. Little difference. Even the trucks stopped that nonsense years ago ..

I'm a bead guy...but I'd say it's about 80 percent wheel weights for people when I change a tire for them. I include the weights in my price but charge what the beads cost me. It could be I just know a bunch of cheap *** people lol.

I use ride on in the past. Still do in sidecar tire . But not sure how it will work with TPMS. So sticking with weights for now.
