Tire Replacement Iron 883
I bought a used 2014 Iron 883 a few months back. My first bike so I didn't want to go new while learning. The back tire needs to be replaced soon so I was searching online for a replacement. Something caught my eye; however, and I am hoping you great people can tell me what's going on. The stock rear tire for the Iron should be 150/80 B16. However, the rear tire installed on the bike is a 130/90 B16. Trying to figure out why the prior owner went with a smaller rear tire and if I should go back to the stock size. Thoughts?

Some people like the handling and/or lighter weight of a narrower tire better so that might be what happened. A 130/90 is OK on your stock 3" wide rim and the diameter difference is less than 1% so the speedo error would be negligible.
