Question break dragging

2005 FLHT, 43000 miles. I had pretty severe front brake dragging. I rebuilt both calipers, all parts calipers and pistons looked great, some break dirt and such, small amount of yellow jell (assume water contamination inside calipers) but no rust, pitts or other dings anywhere. Cleaned everything, checked for flatness. New o-rings, fluid, etc. Left caliper now great, but right caliper sill drags. (Right rotor quite warm to touch (I'd say 110F) after ride without using front brakes for last 10 min, Left rotor is fully cool but right quite warm)

Could be a difference in how the fluid returns between the two. While under pressure from the caliper they will produce equal fluid pressure on both, but in return the shorter line or least stiff caliper wins in the return. It could come into normal operation once some of the pad, (if new) wears down some. If only warm, it's not rubbing too hard.
Too much fluid in the master will slow return as well. Get way too much in there and the brake will start to lock up on it's own from heat and expansion. Just a couple of things to look at.

I don't give the difference in line length much probability. Length difference must be less then 5%, and nothing there has changed in last 4 years, Pads are new, but again both sides are, and i surly give sufficent time to return during testing. but fluid livel IS a possibility. I did leave it full. I will check/reduce that tomorrow morning and report back

Default Promising

drained a little fluid out this morning before heading off to work. Took a short road test (about 20 miles, last 5 min no front brake). Right roter is much cooler, not as cool as left, but better. Although a little early to tell (it may have been the Gods smiling on me this morning) but I must admit it's promising.
