Been noticing on the curves that the front tire is humming. Took a look at the tire and it is feathering. Not sure if that is the right term, but the tread grooves on the outside edges of the tires are deeper/shallower front to back. It's the same on both sides of the tire.
This is on an 08 FXDC with laced wheels, stock suspension. Only about 5700 miles on the bike so far. Heavy rider - I run 275. Service Manual says 30 psi, I've been running 32 psi; max is 42 psi on the sidewall.
Just wondering if this is normal for the Dunlop D401F tire. Or, if there is something I should be modifying.
