Sprocket Brake
Anybody got any pros and cons? I'm working on a rigid and probably not going to use a front brake.
And what's the big difference in the $300 Sprokster and the rest of the kits out there that are $600 and up? I also noticed that there was some tech info on the Hot Bike page that's not there anymore on the Sprokster. That's kind of scary.

No help or advice. I had never heard of a sprocket brake until reading your post, and I took the term literally. I was wondering who would be crazy enough to rig up an aluminum belt sprocket for braking. Looked up a picture of the Sprockster, and I feel better about your survival odds. If that's your thing, go for it.
