im thinking about powder coating my rocker rims black and also my silverado ss rims black im not real familer with powder coating i was wondering if you can powder coat certain parts of the wheels or not and if anyone has any pics of theirs and a round about cost for what places are charging thanks
I live in the UK so prices here won't mean much on your side of the pond, but I have had my wheels painted plain gloss black. I don't know if they are powder coat or some other finish, but they look far better than the factory finish. I would certainly recommend doing it. There is a member of HDF who repaints wheels and I seem to think he can do most things. See if you can search the whole forum and find other threads - Dyna Forum I reckon.
ya bud we do all sort of powder work...
we mask, coat, polish, fade, pearl, flake... anythign the customer wants we do... we do a ton of wheels
both my truck and my wifes car wheels are done...
check out our gallery on our website there is a whole section for wheels there, we will be adding to that shortly as we now are contracted with the local mercedes benz dealer to offer a black out package... www.thepowderpro.com if you have any questions at all just let me know
if you look at this one we did orange calipers and then a 1 inch orange stripe on the inside of the wheel drum
thanks what do you charge like if i were to do just front and rear bike wheels or all four 20inch silverado ss wheels there actually boss wheels but thats what i have on my ss
we charge a 100 a wheel for the 20's and the bike wheel depends on what you are looking ot have done and what type of wheel, granted if we are shooting all your wheels we will cut you a deal for that work as well
