Well mine is a 07 stadard but I get about 14-15 thou. with miles to spare. I went to a metz 880 and get the same but with a much better feel and control in the twisties. I've ran 3 402's and 4 metzler 880's in the last 3 1/2 years.

Wink Dunlop 402

My front tyre needs changing now and its done 20000 miles. Not sure if that's good, bad or indiferrent. The rear has many many miles left in it so now the dilema. Being a tight ****, the harley Dunlop here is must more expensive than other brands equivalents. Any thoughts on mixing brands?

Cheers

I usualy mix brands. Always a metz 880 on the front and I keep trieng different rears to find the best milage and traction on the rear. I'm on my 15th rear tire. so far so good its the hd dunflop crossbones tire. not that good in high speed corners in the rain but it has a deep tread and looks to be good for slower speed traction situations. Metz's 880's are cool looking but are expensive and dont last as long. The roadsmart dunlop is prety good though.

I got 14K on my stock front dunlop on my 09 super glide before I changed it and I could of went longer but it was starting to cup and was giving me a vibration at highway speeds. As for the rear tire I got 7500 from the stock tire then switch to a ME880 and got 9500 out of that. But then went back to the dunlop HD stock tire cause I couldn't get a 880 in time,so I'll see how this dunlop last.
