21x3 conversion for heritage springer
got the itch to put a 21x3 up front on a 2000 heritage sringer.. have some dont knows though. going to loose the fender so no worries about clearance. are the FX axles the same length as the FLs, if so i can use my axle, right. any recommdations on rims..hubs..tires..bout the only thing i've got figured out are the spokes. any ideas. thanks

thanks, any idea bout the axle lenght? my local dealer couldnt figurs it out. since i have that big fender that doesnt mount to the forks like the FX mine is mounted to the axle which makes me think i have a longer axle. im not going to run the front fender so im tring to find out if i am going to have to buy a new "FX" axle..small detail but thats where the devils at

Just a stock springer axel should work it's just the spacers that will be different. We have used pvc pipe. Cut the pvc the length you need to space it out right and the you can cut the spacers from that.
