Just had my first flat in forever. Thought I would just take the ole rear wheel to the Harley shop and have them put in a new tube, I didn't feel like attempting my usual 3 screwdriver tire job. They were eager to put new tires and tubes on less than a year ago, and now I find out they 'don't do flats'
I can buy a new tire and tube, but they ain't gonna fix it. Was there a rash of Harley shops doing crappy work on tire repair and they got sued? If they won't stand by a simple thing as replacing a tube, why should I trust them to do anything?
If it is just a small pin hole in the tire, I know cycle gear will replace the tire with a new tube. they wont patch the tube. and the hole in the tire has to be in the tread portion, nowhere near the side wall
