Question about wheel compatibilty
Quick question for all you more knowlegable guys: I have a 2010 Nightster and was wanting to change the spoke wheels to mags. A family member has a set of 1996 mag wheels off a sportster that they've offered. I've done some research and it seems my axles are 25 MM and the measurements for that years sportster were 1" and 3\4" My question is would the wheels fit if I bought a 3\4 axle and bearings since 25MM is almost one inch? Or should I buy both 1" and 3/4" sets of axles and bearings to fit? Or are they just too old to fit? Any help is appreciated.
