New rear tire...
So I think Ive decided on getting the same tire that came with the bike. The Dunlop K591. I got over 9000 miles on the first one (though I probably should have changed it 1000 miles ago) and its only $166 shipped to my door.
I'm told I should replace the tube and the rim strip also.
I really know very little about those things so I'm here looking for some info.
I guess just stick with stock huh?

I just changed the tires on my softail. I did it myself. I'm 60. Anyway, I went with the Metzler 880's. 90/90 21 $113 front, 130/90 16 $135 rear. free shipping. Motorcycle Superstore.
Check the inner rim for rust and remove. Check the im strip for holes or punctures, replace or reuse. Replace the inner tube. Dynabeads for self balancing.
