Default Wheel alignment

Hi everybody!

Did anyone have to align wheels? I have a 48 with just 1000 miles, and HD service told me I have to.

Is that fragile? I mean, I only ride on pavemented streets. Very strange...

Thank you!

Aligning the wheels keeps the belt running true on the sprocket. Keeping the rear wheel parallel with the front wheel keeps the bike vertical among other things. Tires wear properly when parallel and aligned and steering is easier.

I only check it with tools when I change my tires or remove a wheel for some reason. I normally watch my belt for abnormal wear. If it isn't aligned properly you will see wear on the edge of the belt.
