… And again… I tied down into a skitter residential hotel for the night… Onto the ferry tomorrow morning, and over to Vancouver Island…I am meeting up with a friend on the other side of the water, and my brother is riding up to join us… I was going to stay for a couple days, but it turns out I need it back in Langley, so will be heading back to the mainland on Sunday
… And again… I tied down into a skitter residential hotel for the night… Onto the ferry tomorrow morning, and over to Vancouver Island…I am meeting up with a friend on the other side of the water, and my brother is riding up to join us… I was going to stay for a couple days, but it turns out I need it back in Langley, so will be heading back to the mainland on Sunday

I have the rope type, not the mushroom plug… I replaced the glue every year, and make sure the kit is intact… I also go to a gas station inflate the tire about 10 pounds and then use the hand pump to get it back up to make sure it’s working

I am staying in the Swiss chalet motel… One of the nicest mom and pop motels you’ll find anywhere… And the bike is right outside the room… Exceptionally clean, and priced about the same as everybody else… This is my go-to motel in Revelstoke … A small fridge, Only thing it is missing is a microwave… Usually they have a hot breakfast, but during the Days of ‘Rona, they give you a bagged breakfast… Which is what I had for supper last night…🥳

It should be about another eight hour ride tomorrow, plus the stops… I am going to run Highway 1 all the way to Hope, that takes me through Boston Bar, and keeps me off the freeway… I have not been south on the Fraser Canyon in a very long time, so I am looking forward to some “new” old road…

I’m getting very used to the new recluse clutch… And even after a couple of days I’m beginning to wonder how I ever rode without it… It’s going to be an incredible wrist saver when I get back to the Beach and start riding in traffic.
