... the Creston Valley... lots of motels here if you want to take a rest... this is looking up towards Kooteany bay, and it is a great route up and over to Neslon and back down towards Hwy 3... and if you want even more twisty road, then up to Kaslo and over hwy 31...

... then down the hill, through Castlegar, and up and over the Blueberry Paulson pass... this is Cristina Lake... suppose to be the warmest lake in Southern BC... busy in the sumer, lots of boats... but nice campgrounds, if you can find one that is not full... I have stayed here many times... Grandforks is just down the road for supplies if needed...
