This is in Whitehorse… And this group of motorcyclists were from South America… They kept the bikes in storage somewhere in the US… And flew up every summer to travel on different roads.

Destruction bay which is just west of Whitehorse… I’m pretty sure I was heading east, and the two fellas on the ADV’s we’re actually heading to a campground only about an hour and a half away from my house… that campground is a stopping point for many world travelers, and there’s a couple of weekends in the summer are they congregate at… It’s on Kooteney lake, Just north of Nelson… And I’m pretty sure that even Ted Simon has been there… The place is called told rock… Lots of motorcycles there.

At the top of the Galena Pass pull out… That’s the sawtooth mountains… Stanley is about a half an hour up that valley… The best time to ride that northerly route is in the early afternoon.

This, without a doubt, has to be the ugliest motorcycle Harley Davidson has ever produced… They have gone to new lengths to save money… Like don’t spend any money on paint or chrome… Build a bike, push it off the end of the assembly line, and just spray it with a truck box liner……

Glory days… But both bikes from them, and they did all the work on the Panhead, as well as all the servicing on the electrified… They head mechanic opened up his own Indy Shop on the other end of town, he gets all my work now

They asked me if I needed any help… I told him I had it sorted, that a wrecker was on the way… And then said we didn’t need this many motorcycles parked on the side of the road… Just too dangerous… My bike was almost in the ditch to get out of the traffic... The first flatdeck that showed up, I told them to leave… The second one that showed up got the job done and got me to Bakersfield Harley Davidson… Tire got fixed and I was on my way in a couple of hours.
