I read someplace on here were someone was talking about a hidden radio antenna option were it is hidden under the faring. Can anyone tell me were to look for this other then the stealer? I need one for the RG.
Dealer doesn't have them, they have been around for years, small 12 volt powered amplified car antenas. Most guys just mount them inside the fairings. here's one example; http://www.weisd.com/store2/MET44-UA200.html
I got mine on eBay for under $21. I don't use my radio very much at all, as I mostly listen to my CD player and I can't vouch for the reception because I haven't been able to go out. I went the hidden antenna route because I made my tour pak detachable and didn't wanna mess with the antenna cable.
It's easy. Go to Pep Boys. It's in the radio section, for like 19 bucks. Mine works great!
