Default WHOLLY BUCKWHEAT - new bars on an Ultra worth EVERY cent!!!

These bars below make my '05 Ultra feel like a TOTALLY NEW RIDE!!!What a difference - phenomenal.

And I ain't short or have short appendages - but always felt like I was leaning forward too much.

Should have had these suckers from day one.

Can really "kick back" on the long hauls.

Maximum comfort and optimum hand/arm positions.

Can't see an obvious difference from stock, but man o' man can you feel it. Can't say enough good about them.

Sorta like ape hangers for an Ultrageezer glide.

Hey, a couple extra inches and I feel real manly now [:'(]

Anybody else got 'em???

I just finshed putting mine on last week. Man those bars are comfortable. I wanted to put braided lines at the same time, but could not find the +2 for the '07. I was able to re-route the stock cables. And your right - 2 inchesmakes a huge difference!

I am not sure why they state the pull back bars are for short riders--I am not short and am going to have them installed to get some more pullback so I can have some bend in my arms when riding, and use my backrest more.

I was wondering abouut the cables too. I have heard that you can use all the cables and someone else told me that you needed the clutch cable nut none of the others. Whats the real snuff.

Hey DC,

Bob
Bob,

Fairing mirrors work fine with my new bars, BUT.......

I've got two sets of mirrors - yeah, kinda dorky.

The extended bar mounted ones I use for rear view.

The fairing ones I aim at like 30-45 degree angle to easily see oncoming left/right ramp traffic and/or get a clear view of both adjacent lanes - great in heavy traffic.

[pics below are stock bars]

And believe it or not, I'm planning on another set of mirrors (Kuryakyn) as soon as they are released!!!!!

How's that for originality- six mirrors!!!

Thanks for the info DC. Looks like those might just be the bars I will get then. I think that I would be a little bit more comfortable with them then the stock bars. I think that i might be able to do it with my stock cables too. My clutch cable has all ready been replaced, and I think that it is a little bit longer too.
