Keeping in mind ones a sponsor, and with respect,to that, which heat deflectors are best, Kuryakyns for $69 out of clear plastic, or what ever,OR V twins aluminum covered with vinyl, for $139@ up? Please only those who HAVE THEM ON THE BIKE reply.
you get exactly what you pay for in this case. do some searching on comments on these two products, and you will find that almost everyone that has a rjsoriginal is well pleased. not the case with the others.
i compared the two, and certainly was not impressed with the design, quality and installation of the Kury/HD. I am totally pleased with the rjsoriginals and highly recommend them!!
Yea, the heat on mine is getting bad with the temps outside just getting higher.
I had read a few others saying that it only deflected the heat to the passengers feet... anyone expereince this or have a solution ? Last thing I need is for my wife to start complaining more... about the heat already there..
Can you all post some pics of yours on here so I can take a look. I too was thinking about getting some but want to see them first. I seen some on a bike here today that were clr but were short and didn't go far enough forward and had a gap between them and the tank (didn't care for those) but if they work thats cool
