Default Rush Slip-on Mufflers

Could someone tell me how theloudness of the smallest Rush Slip on (1.50) compares with stock exhaust? I've gone to theirweb site but can't really tell from that. I am looking for noticibly louder but not obnoxious loud.

The Rush mufflers have a interchangable baffle wrapped in glass. It is a free flow design so you get a bit more "sound." I had the 2 inch on my Deluxe for a couple of months and decided I did not like it....just the wrong sound under load.....at cruise it was nice. If you are riding a Deluxe I'll make you a heck of a deal on a used set..

I have Rush Slip-ons w/ 2" baffles and they are really nice....low rumble and not overly loud. My friends Screamin Eagles area littlelouder, and my friends with VanceHines trues duals are to me, too loud.

I'm actually thinking of buyign 2.5" baffles to be a bit louder, but maybe I'm just getting to used the 2". I hope htis helps, but if you are like me...............who wants loud but not too loud, the 2" would probably be best. I'm guessing that 1.75 might be too quiet. Also rememeber, my bike is old, a '97 with a carberator.

I have the 2.00 inch baffels on my 07 night train. I love them. They are real deep and not loud at low speeds. I can cruise out and not bother people anytime I wnt. If I want some noise, twist and I get great sound......

Everyone I ride with likes mine over the screaming eagles on my friends bike.. His are noticably louder.

I put some 1.75 on my Heritage 10 days ago. I was surprised how much louder they were than I anticipated. Not overly loud for me. Very nice on a cruise, but you can make them bark if you want. I wouldn't want mine any louder.

I put 1.75s on my Deluxe. I then went with 2.25s after deciding I wanted more sound. The low rumble was nice with either size, just louder with the 2.25s.

Oh, and I went with a K&N breather and PCIII with the 2.25s.
